Privacy Policy

In short: TestGrid does not collect your data. The app has no internet access, so photos of answer sheets, learner names, scores and reports stay on your phone. We never see them.
Who we are
TestGrid is an app that helps teachers check answer sheets and analyse test results. In this policy, "we" means the developer of TestGrid. You can contact us at apptestgrid@gmail.com.
What the app does with your information
Everything TestGrid does happens on your device:
- Camera and photos. The app uses the camera to photograph answer sheets. The photos are processed on the phone and saved only in the app's own storage.
- Exam files and class information. Exam documents, answer keys, learner names and scores that you open or create are stored only on your phone.
- Results and reports. Workbooks and reports are created on your phone. They leave it only if you choose to share them yourself, for example through your phone's share menu. The app you choose then handles the file under its own privacy policy.
The app does not ask for internet access. It cannot send your photos, class data or results to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. TestGrid has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not sell or share any personal information, because we do not receive any.
Purchases
TestGrid is free to download. Optional unlocks are bought through Google Play. Google processes the payment and tells the app which unlock your Google account owns. We do not receive your card, GCash or other payment details. Google's handling of purchases is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Problem reports
If something goes wrong, the app can prepare a problem report. It describes the fault only: no learner names, no marks and no photos. You can read it first, and it is sent only if you choose to share it with us, for example by email.
Deleting your data
Because your data stays on your phone, you control it. Uninstalling TestGrid, or clearing its storage in your phone's settings, deletes everything the app has stored. Export any results you want to keep first.
Children
TestGrid is made for teachers, not for children. It may contain learners' names and scores that a teacher enters, but this information stays on the teacher's device and is never sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
