TestGrid

TestGrid Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 October 2026

In short: TestGrid processes answer sheets, learner names, scores, and reports locally on the teacher's Android device. TestGrid does not upload this classroom information to the developer or sell it to anyone.

Developer and contact information

TestGrid is an Android application for teachers that checks multiple-choice answer sheets and analyses assessment results. In this policy, “TestGrid,” “we,” and “us” refer to the independent developer and operator of the TestGrid app.

Privacy questions may be sent to busdemo25@gmail.com.

Information the app accesses and how it is used

TestGrid may access or process the following information when a teacher uses the related feature:

This classroom information is not uploaded to TestGrid's developer.

Data collection and sharing

TestGrid does not require an account and does not use developer-operated analytics, advertising, or tracking. The developer does not collect or receive answer-sheet images, learner names, answers, scores, class records, or reports.

TestGrid does not sell personal information. Classroom information is shared with another app or person only when the teacher deliberately exports a file or uses Android's share function. The receiving service then handles that file under its own privacy policy.

Purchases

TestGrid is free to download. Optional unlocks are bought through Google Play. Google processes the payment and tells the app which unlock your Google account owns. We do not receive your card, GCash or other payment details. Google's handling of purchases is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Security

TestGrid reduces privacy risk by processing classroom information locally and keeping its working files in app-controlled storage. Teachers should protect their device with a screen lock, keep Android updated, and share exported files only with authorised recipients. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so teachers remain responsible for safeguarding learner records on their devices and in files they choose to export.

Problem reports

If something goes wrong, the app can prepare a problem report. It describes the fault only: no learner names, no marks and no photos. You can read it first, and it is sent only if you choose to share it with us, for example by email.

Data retention and deletion

Classroom information remains on the device until the teacher deletes the relevant records, clears TestGrid's app storage, or uninstalls TestGrid. Because this information is not uploaded to the developer, the developer cannot view or remotely delete it. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app removes its local data; teachers should export any results they need to retain before doing so.

Children and learner information

TestGrid is made for teachers, not for children. It may contain learners' names and scores entered by a teacher. This information is processed locally and is not sent to TestGrid's developer. Teachers and schools are responsible for using learner information according to their applicable privacy obligations.

Changes to this policy

If TestGrid's data practices or this policy change, this page and the effective date above will be updated.
